Today's Reading: 2 Kings 20, Isaiah 38, 39, Psalm 75, 1 Peter 2
Truly enjoyed reading 1 Peter 2.
So refreshing this morning to be reminded of who we are in Christ.
*Chosen Race: because of the Grace of God
*Royal Priesthood: belonging exclusively to God in heaven
*Holy Nation: Set Apart - purchased with the blood of His own Son
*People for his Possession: citizenship in heaven
*Received Mercy: privilege from God
*Living Stones: to reveal the praises of God to a dark, lost world
Each of these privileges carry with them one big responsibility - people of the world should see the "excellencies" of God in our lives. Our lives should radiate the extraordinary God we serve.
I am so reminded that I am part of God's chosen people because of His mercy and I am called to be faithful to Him!
